I am actually pulling for Telesco - I want him to succeed. But between he and John Boy - just not sure how good of a tandem they are

I saw a list today of the WRs drafted by Telesco -- speed was not a priority

At the league meetings Brandon Staley called john spanos “JoJo” LOL!!! So from now on I’m using JoJo when referring to mr johnny spanos…

when I was teaching in La Jolla back in the 90s there was a nasty rumor going around that johnny spanos had raped a girl at his HS and that dean had to pull some strings to make it all go away…and it wasn’t the first time that he’d had trouble either there was another unrelated story in the UT back in the day about another incident that I think involved car racing or some such thing where someone had been horribly injured or something like that…I’m not saying any of it is true but I never heard any such thing about AG or any other member of the tribe…so it wasn’t like someone was out to get the family…just JoJo being JoJo, LOL…

yeah, I got zero faith that JoJo can see past his ego to learn anything from TT, say whatever you want about TT but he’s a self made man and between him and JoJo, who do you think would still have an NFL job if Dean had to sell the team tomorrow?

Teams keep signing him but end up releasing him. He's on the Niners roster now. He seems to have the size and speed and good hands every team looks for but something is amiss with him when teams keep cutting him.

As for needing a speedy WR - Carter has signed with the Broncos so the need is even greater now. Jalen Guyton may not be back so it looks like we completely lack speed.

agree... we need 3-4 to bring tio camp with goal of keeping 2 speed guys who can also do returns.

I would take prime Tony Martin or Anthony Miller at this point

I agree, but it’s not just him, jojo is all up in his…..so it’s hard to know exactly what TT is responsible for and what he isn’t…I might not like Staley as a DC but his positive influence on the roster either thru FA signings, trades, and the draft during the last two years is undeniable…

This is probably the single most important element Staley has brought to the team . . . . . .

We had one in Tyron Johnson. I still don't understand why Staley released him, other than that he couldn't play special teams and wasn't a fit for Swinton who was the STC at the time.

Jalen Guyton has speed too but it isn't that good, and he's likely to not be retained.

Yep...never found out why T-Billy has bounced around so much...the talent is there...and towards the end of his stay with us, he was already starting to run a variety of routes besides the go...

IMO, Alworth was better than JJ but JJ was very good, probably second best. Can't forget Charlie Joiner though. But, I agree - Martin or Miller would fill the bill too.
