He's an Anthony Lynn pick. Staley needs to draft a linebacker to make Murray work for the starting ILB spot.

According to this^^, posted an hour ago, Ezekiel Elliot is bound for the Chargers.
Having not been offered a contract by the Bengals, Jets or Eagles, the next most logical destination is following Kellen Moore to LA. This piece cites a Bleacher Report article that projects Elliot would get a 2-year, $9 mil contract with $6.5 guaranteed.
I see some other stories online posted today that as well project Elliot is coming to the Chargers.
Elliot has averaged 4.0 yds per carry his last three seasons in Dallas. Last year his ypc was 3.8, the first time below 4.0 in his career. In 2016 (rook) & 2018 he led the league in rushing, and had more than 3,000 yds rushing in those two seasons. His ypc carry were 5.1 & 4.7 those two seasons.
Despite his decline in rushing average in recent seasons, Elliot can still pound the rock into the end zone. He has 22 rushing TDs the past two seasons.
As a receiver, his stats have dropped off the past two seasons. He had 17 catches for 92 yds and 0 TDs in 2022. In 2021 those stats were 47/287/2.
Elliot will turn 28 in July.

Here's another story posted today that says he's "predicted" to sign with the Chargers. https://heavy.com/sports/dallas-cowb...s-la-chargers/

I'm seeing the words "should" and "if". Only time I saw the word "projection" is in how much they could pay him.

I'd rather draft a RB. Elliott is in steep decline.

Read the original Bleacher Report and there is nothing more there than “hey, i got an idea, Zeke should consider following Moore ;;;”
Maybe they are talking to him, idunno. These articles just don’t have reporting that they are.“Less is more? NO NO NO - MORE is MORE!”
