It is very pleasing to see that both JC Jackson and Austin Johnson are coming along swimmingly in their recoveries.

I am quite surprised to see them ahead of schedule.

One of these years - the stars need to align so to speak and the changes with personnel work, the coaching staff, no stupid mistakes during games... it all comes together.

Andy Reid + Spagnola against novice coach and mentally challenged OC was like shooting fish in a barrel.

But, that's not really true. Those games against the Chiefs were very close. They had to come from behind to eke out a win.

They were careful to secure their 3 wins by 3 points twice and OT once to make it look closer than it was.

I wish I could remember the person on twitter that had the stats about the Chargers and running on first down and how bad it was

I do seem to recall nobody threw more passes on 2nd and 10+ than Herbert last year. Getting a running game is vital to helping Herbert. The Chargers cannot always be in 2nd and long and 3rd downs. Its very inefficient and will not bode well for success.

As much as I think the WR room needed a player like QJ; the offense also needs a more reliable running game

They had to get Everett to jump out of the way of a TD pass for a 100-yd pick6 in one game. I’d like to see them pull that off twice.
