Right guard is fairly shallow in free agency

Let me be clear this signing must come with a contingency plan because Vera-Tucker has not finished 3 of his 5 NFL seasons...but when he is on the field he is an above average starter, very athletic for the scheme, and will come cheaper than other guard options.

Good call out but the health risk is a concern. If he was healthy - -well the Jets probably don't let him walk - they would sign him. He is very good. But the injury concern - not sure Joe can take that risk

The great way to start the weekend was in regards to Biadasz. And the AJ Brown news was just that. Interest.

Which makes the offseason feel like its starting today. And that excites me.

Just in case you guys were thinking i was floating the idea of trading for Brown. He is a total monster tho.

I think a guy that would be much cheaper and fit perfectly would be Deebo.

Eagles get Quentin Johnston, our 2026 6th round pick and our 2027 3rd round pick.

Chargers get AJ Brown

If the Eagles say no to that just walk away and sign Pierce I guess.

signed Patterson and Williamson to extensions - those two can't cost much - like under $1.5.

EVERYONE agrees that Justin H. is the most important player and making the OL a huge upgrade.
Is a middling Center and keeping Zion ( who was part of this bad OL )really a huge upgrade ? Unless there is more OL signings ( and good ones ), I'm not impressed. Hortiz, do you have a OL blind spot?

Exactly. If VT has a healthy year you have a really good guard with better talent than pretty much anyone on the FA market who fits the system perfectly. More ceiling than a David Edwards for less money

2027 draft is looking STELLAR. I am really not a fan of trading 2027 picks. That will really suck later. Draft is the life blood...the Hortiz life blood
