Well, NBC did flex Broncos-Chiefs to Sun night in two weeks, choosing that game over the Chargers-Bengals, apparently. I'm not sure why they would do that, unless the Chargers-Bengals was protected by FOX?

        We play modern football.
Unless you want to hear them lol. They seem to have the volume of only 1 on. My buddy likes to do that too but when Chargers are on, i never switch out. I do with other games and i dont want to watch the game thats on in my region.

Mike Florio said this morning that the Mike Williams TD so soon after the Steelers had fought so hard to take the lead deflated the Steelers, whose offense is not built to do what the Chargers did. I think Big Ben was totally deflated when he got the ball back with 2 mins to play and the only way to win it was to march 80 yards and score a TD. He took back to back sacks then made half-hearted throws that were way of the mark. To me, it looked like he just gave up. That's what a young stud QB like Herbert can do, deflate the opposition with quick strikes.
Explains why Heyward went apeshiat punching Herbert in the stomach....

IMO, like we missed Nasir Adderley in the Minnesota game and would've made a difference, the Steelers were missing Minkah Fitzpatrick something awful. I would be more than glad to meet the Steelers again in the playoffs, if they want to get into a track meet again, the Chargers will blow their doors off.

AM games aren't eligible to flex only afternoon games

Really? I was not aware of that.

I think the KC Denver game was a early window game.

Yeah, sdchrgrboy pointed that out to me above. Now I know. I disagree though that a night game in Cincy would be less ideal than a 10 a.m. game.

I'm watching the blocked punt. Did you know the guards are Drue and Chris Rumph on that play? 8:32

I was wondering where TE Stephen Alexander was yesterday, he was playing RT on special teams.

Curious as to why? The lights?
I don't think lights makes us play better if so.

According to Popper, this is what happened:
                          22. On the blocked punt in the fourth quarter that turned the game and spearheaded the Steelers’ 24 unanswered points, Pittsburgh linebacker Miles Killebrew shot through the interior of the Chargers’ punt protection between long snapper Matt Overton and linebacker Drue Tranquill. According to Staley, Overton should have set back more vertically to make contact with Killebrew, and Tranquill could have stayed connected on Killebrew a touch longer. Rookie Nick Niemann was the personal protector, and he misread the play. He was distracted by a rusher to the outside and did not see Killebrew get free. Niemann should have prioritized the interior rush over the outside rush. “It’s a learning lesson for a young player, for sure,” Staley said.
