Bolts had their chances to stretch a lead and couldn't execute. (Defense had chances too and couldn't get off the field in the 2nd half.)

Thought the OC called a decent game Sunday. I did not like the jet action (I believe it was called once in what I felt was a critical spot. Bosa blew that up IIRC..) Did not like the play action on the goal line - Ek's hot as he's been in the red zone or goal to go spots. but whatever - it still came down to execution and eventually personnel.

You have to consistently win one on one matchups. As the game went on the cream rose to the top.

The Chargers were trying to take advantage of SFs injuries at DT.

We had little choice to do otherwise.

Respectfully, I don't think those pictures excuse our lack of aggression late in the 4th.
I think the whole world understands we're rolling with 5th stringers at WR and yet, I'm asking Herbert and company to take some shots, I can live with losing with an interception or incompletion, but I can't live with losing by taking no shots and relying on our underneath options to YAC their way towards a first down. That's basically giving up.
it's a disservice to not only Herbert but these shitty WRs who signed up to play their asses off against SF--give them a chance to make a catch beyond the first down marker!
As far as blame, at this point, idgas, Herbert, Lombo, Staley, whomever, don't be afraid of taking necessary chances.
