Critty works in hospital.
Do not pay attention to the man behind the curtain (Tua's surgeon.)
Tua has at least an 80% chance to successfully resume a long playing career after disclocating his hip and fracturing his posterior wall of his acetabulum.
Thank god for modern medicine and the excellent work of the doctors or he would have zero chance.
Of course if doctors say they expect a full recovery. Then that has to mean 100% that he will resume a long playing career. Right? Thats what your telling me. Pay no attention to actually recovery rates for this injury. Wu-Dai, the doctors statement is all you need to know. Tua is 100.

49er/Baltimore game is the regular season’s best match up
Possible Super Bowl matchup...though I give the edge to the Seahawks over the 49ers to represent the NFC. The Ravens will represent the AFC, though I wouldn't count out the Chiefs. Funny, I think the Chargers could still beat the Ravens.
Dude.
Really?! thread topic integrity is your issue.
Thats what is bothering you.
Somehow im not buying it.
Bench Rivers ?
Why?
To win more games? To get a Championship.
What if we start Tyrod, what happens?
God forbid if I post historical assessment of how HC & GM and the Team have done under Spanos.
God forbid if I post Charger great opinion by LT about Rivers and why he thought he wasn't the QB to get it done. God forbid if I rehash some past to post an opinion about winning championships which is the whole reason to talk about benching Rivers in the 1st place. The entire bench Rivers topic is a "how do we win a Championship" topic in my mind. Whats the point in talking about benching Rivers if the goal isnt a Championship.
I think it is all connected, the past present and future.
We aren't in this current situation but for past decisions, past decison that in my mind are important to try and understand what did not work, what did work, what could have been done differently and how it can be used now and in the future to adjust the football team into a champion. Sure, i have no say in the construction of the team, none of us fans do. Never will. But as fanatics we can post opinions about past decisions and drafts, current decisions and roster, and future decisions, roster and draft.
I do bring up the past performances in an attempt to show a pattern of what I think worked and what did not.
Let me take you back to a flashback of the only 2 seasons Rivers had single digit interceptions. The one under Marty and the one under Norv.
14-2 Rivers throws 9ints.
13-3 Rivers throws 9ints.
Interesting to me when Rivers & team finds a way to keep those interceptions down they win more. Marty was a stickler for protecting the rock. One play at a time. There are reasons for that lower interception total, better roster those years. But bottom line for me is when Rivers is in single digit interception, the record is better and they won the AFC West. Would Marty have reigned in those interceptions? Would Brees have performed better with those same rosters? Flashback, its been 10 years since the last AFC West title. I would think benching Rivers includes the idea of how does the team win the AFC West.
I would think bench Rivers includes how he has played under current and past HCs.
Bench Rivers thread.
Rivers who replaced Brees.
Rivers who was 14-2 with 9 ints with Marty as HC.
Rivers who LT said wasn't ready to lead.
Rivers who is franchise QB for Spanos team.
Rivers who was drafted by the king of no rings.
Rivers who is not electric like Lamar Jackson.
Rivers who did not get it done under Norv.
Rivers who did not get it done under McCoy
Rivers who has not won the AFC West since LT left.
Rivers who has become a turnover machine.
Rivers who will get himself fired soon.
Rivers who may get Lynn fired soon.
Bench Rivers?
Why?
The o-line scapegoat response is always a fan favorite.
And a TLDR response to my rant works here too.
Happy Thanksgiving Pac!
From this, that does not follow.
I have no problem with your rants and "what if?" meanderings.
I have no problem with your omniscience, god damn you're good.
I have no problem with revisionism, ponderings, musings.
Just start a fucking thread.
Start a Marty thread.
Start an AJ thread.
Start a Brees thread.
Start a Spanos thread.
What happens if we start Tyrod? Well watch the fucking Bills games. He's a game manager with severe ceilings in the passing game. Not too tough a code to crack.
Critty, I love you. You are genuinely one of my favorite posters and know your stuff.
Don't think it has to be separated into 4 different threads. Just one will do.
Im thinking the title can be.....Thoughts about this Franchise; Past, Present and Future.
