I think Lawrence will have a very good rookie season. But he won’t fire out of cannon like Herbertron did.

I worry that with his slender form he may not hold up in a 17 game season, especially behind that line.

Nice story... he's so unassuming, its almost endearing. Cat person, looks for bargains (only got the hair cut from John Lott because it was free, avoids Whole Foods because 'calories are calories'), was a Charger fan because his Granddad was from San Diego, and well liked by his teammates.

I love this kid so much. I can't explain it. I wasn't in love with him when we drafted him, I didn't hate it, either... I was like, let's wait and see.

But he played so well, and to be such a likeable and humble young man. I just wish him the best.

Maybe it's just my age (I'm 51 now), but I don't think I've felt this way about a player before.
