they drafted, will cheer as loud as anybody when Herbert throws a TD, makes a game winning pass, and WINS a game.....

We just had one of our worst seasons ever, YES We are a pissed bunch....


The bottom line is IF Herbert is a bust, and Tyrod has a losing season.... TT & Lynn will be gone, and the Chargers will have a shot at the #1 pick next season.....

I would prefer Herbert becomes a probowl QB, and the Chargers become Super Bowl Champs, and make the best of the situation. . .

His problems aren't related to mechanics, coaching, or anything correctable. He plays too conscientious/scared and that slows down his processing and causes adrenaline to totally screw up everything about him, from his reads to his accuracy. He's really one of those guys that is too smart for his own good, and his personality type allows that to have a very large influence on how he plays.

HIS SUCCESS OR FAILURE WILL HAVE MORE TO DO WITH HIS PSYCHOLOGICAL STATE THAN ANYTHING ELSE.

Get him pissed off and he will have moments where he can be a really good QB. It's all upstairs with him.

That will be the absolute key. Chargers need to do everything in their power to elevate his confidence, but confidence can really only be gained thru experience.
