Does this mean you're not announcing the player?

When is Melvin Gordon going to realize that no team is going to trade for him and give him the money he is holding out for?

HOU just waived starting RB D'onta Foreman this morning for having a bad attitude.

        They have cap space.

They have invested heavily in Oline.

        Veteran FA signing's:
        Matt Kalil.
        Senio Kelemete.
        Zach Fulton.
        Seantrel Henderson.

        Draftees:
        Nick Martin 16/Rd2.
        Julie'n Davenport 17/Rd4.
        Martinas Rankin 18/Rd3.
        Max Scharping 19/Rd2.
        Tytus Howard 19/Rd1.

        Connect the dots.
Boldface was used for emphasis in the first place ie the correct answer was there all along.

Kalil fits in manny, manny ways.
        --USC...home cookin'.
        --experience.
--one year contract...similar numbers to Gordon.
--HOU will have to off somebody...Davenport/Tytus two deep at OLT.
--Kalil is kinda average (perfect for LAC-bandaid- not rocket science here.)
--One good year, coming off injury.
--Praised by O'Brien for hard work and recovery.
--Plug n Play OLT w/Lamp-Pouncey-Schofield-Tevi intact.
--Don't destroy Scott's confidence by putting him in as an emergency...let Trent develop.
--Pipkins will be ripe in 5 years.

        ...in a nutshell.

        :2cents:

        tl;dr

Kalil @ $5.6 million pro rated is perfect as a six game rental for Russell Okung.

When he figures out DENILE is not a river in DAFRICA.

seriously, he is getting bad advice, overvaluing his position and his place in RB heirarchy. I will take the 3rd rd comp pick and draft a rb next year. TYVM.

And i will go out on a limb and say he doesn't even get what the Chargers have offered on the open market. If he stays out to week 10, after fines, he will play for 1.8MM this season. Brilliant!!#

U realize he was pretty awful the last few years?

                Yes !!
                I am being realistic.
There is scarcity...I have been looking and looking and looking.
We have a big, probably temporary, problem.
Kalil had a good rookie season in MIN.
Since, he has been derailed by injury and underperformance.
                2017 was decent.
                2018 injured again.
We only need to squeeze some blood out of this turnip.
                The cupboard is otherwise bare.
No team will give up anyone at all.

Pipkins is so Green, I don't know if you can even keep him on the final 53 till he's ripe.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Of course we do. U don't risk a 3rd rounder with big upside.they were well aware of how green he was. They drafted him for a reason and it wasnt 2019.

It was a mistake to draft two players who can't play and have to stay on the final 53 in the same draft.

Why? Our roster is stacked, which day three OL, cuz I think that's what you mean, would be better than who we got or can get now? OL in the draft this year sucked, not seeing how a developmental OT with the size you can't coach, plus maybe a QB of the future, are such bad picks.

Anyway like with all drafts, gotta wait and see how this plays out, Pipkins could well be a bust, sure.

Because we have a final 51, not a final 52 or 53 like most teams. And some of the potential game day inactives will be forced onto the game day active squad. We are a playoff quality team, not a rebuilding team. We need quality depth.
